Shannon Iwanski knew from a young age he wanted to be a writer. Beginning with simple plays starring woodland creatures, his creativity evolved through short stories, novellas, and novels. A multi-genre author, he has won multiple for science fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery/suspense, and romance. Having been a member of the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. (OWFI) since 2013, Shannon is currently serving as the Conference Chairperson for 2026 and will continue for 2027. He has previously served as an editor for two small presses and enjoys speaking at writers’ conferences and helping other writers with their craft, including as a sensitivity reader.
