I am on the lookout for captivating middle grade novels. I’m particularly interested in acquiring stories that transport young readers to new worlds while anchoring them in relatable, believable experiences. I’m particularly drawn to manuscripts that feature strong, engaging protagonists facing challenges in a way that feels authentic to their age and experiences. Whether it’s in a haunted forest, a magical kingdom, or a futuristic world, the story should be grounded in emotions and reactions that resonate with young readers. And, of course, a well-crafted villain who tests the heroes in meaningful ways is a definite plus.
