Shannon Lynn Fox is a multi-genre author of stories spanning past, present, and future. She won second place in the 2024 Baen Fantasy Adventure Short Story Award contest. Her work has appeared in DreamForge Anvil and Air & Nothingness Press, among others. She has a B.A. in Literature-Writing from UC-San Diego. When not writing, she spends her time dancing with horses, which is significantly easier to do with four feet instead of two. Shannon grew up in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies before trading snow and chaparral for sand and palm trees. She now lives in San Diego, CA, with her husband, one dog, two horses, and three cats–one of whom may or may not be a demon in disguise.
